Above the Tickle
About
Above the Tickle gets its name from its location in Twillingate: above the narrow straight of water (“tickle”) that separates Twillingate’s north and south islands.
This restored historic merchant home in traditional saltbox style was originally built in the 1890′s and belonged to generations of the Hodder family – a family that is still referred to in the town as “business people”.
